Lake Dardanelle Fishing Report - 07/08/2009

Regina Olson at Spadra Marina said catfishing has been slow. The best bet is to fish bass minnows or stink bait early in the day or late at night. A few nice crappie have been coming in, as well as some excellent catches of bream in backwaters and area ponds. Bass have been biting very well. Bright-colored (chartreuse and orange) crankbaits and watermelon/flake-colored lizards and brush hogs have worked well.
