East and West Salish Ponds are located at the Salish Ponds Wetlands Park on 207th Ave. and Glisan in Fairview, east of Portland

Facilities and Parks: 

restrooms, disabled accessible docks at both ponds, nearby stores that supply fishing gear.

Additional Activities: East and West Salish Ponds are located in the Portland Metro Area between Fairview and Gresham. There are numerous restaurants, movie theaters, and shopping opportunities in the general area. East and West Salish Ponds are also known for waterfowl and other wildlife viewing opportunities. Nearby state parks: Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area, Dabney State Recreation Area.

Fishing Description: 

ODFW stocks rainbow trout, including larger fish, in West Salish Pond on a regular basis. There is also a warmwater fishery in East and West Salish Ponds.

Fishing Cover / Structure: 
There is good bank access available at the ponds. Boats and swimming are allowed.
Fishing Tips, Tactics, How-To info: 

Standard trout fishing methods such as worms, PowerBait, spinners and fly casting work well at the ponds. For warmwater fish use worms on a bobber or a grub/jig set up.

Directions to Lake: 

From I-84 take the Fairview Exit (#16) and travel south on Fairview Parkway.
