Watchaug pond is a kettle pond located at the southern tip of Rhode Island. It is surrounded by nature trails and is near the Audobon society land. An area of 3,000 acres (12 km2) of public land surround the 573-acre (2.32 km2) pond. To get to this pond follow Prosser trail to Motuck to sanctuary road.

Fishing Description: 

Watchaug Pond is one of the best bass fishing lakes in Rhode Island. It also is good for trout and crappie.
