Lake Information for Pickwick Lake
Pickwick Lake is the reservoir created by Pickwick Landing Dam as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority. The lake stretches from Pickwick Landing Dam to Wilson Dam.
When the reservoir is full during the summer, Pickwick provides nearly 490 miles of winding shoreline and about 43,100 acres of water surface.
Pickwick Landing Dam is 113 feet high and stretches nearly a mile and a half—7,715 feet—across the Tennessee River.
Pickwick Lake is famous for smallmouth bass and Tennessee River Catfish. Biting year round are crappie, bluegill, white bass, stripes and sauger.
From I-40: Take Exit 126; towards Parsons follow TN-69. Turn right onto TN-100 and then left onto TN-22. Turn left onto US-64 and then turn right onto TN-128. Go 12 miles and the park entrance is on the left.
From Jackson: US 45 South to State Route 57 East.
From Memphis: State Route 57 East to the Park.
From Florence, AL: US 72 West to Iuka, MS. Take MS Route 25 West (turns into TN Route 57) to the Park.
