West Grand Lake is one of the largest salmon lakes in the state of Maine. Located in Penobscot county, this 14,340 acre lake is connected to Big Lake by the Grand Lake Stream.
Fishing Description:
West Grand Lake is one of Maine’s premier salmon lakes and has an extended season through October 20. There are several guide services and sporting camps along the lake and it has long expanses of undeveloped shoreline.
West Grand Lake is also one of the premier smallmouth fishing lakes in Maine and has numerous 18-22" lake trout.
