Lake Murray is a 50,000-acre man-made lake in the Midlands of South Carolina. It is operated by South Carolina Electric and Gas Company and is known for striped bass fishing and summer water sports.
Dreher Island State Recreation Area is located on the lake.
Fishing Description:
Lake Murray is one of the best-known largemouth and striped bass fishing destinations in the southern U.S. Other species include catfish, bream, crappie and yellow perch.
