Lake Information for Pelican Lake
Pelican Lake is a 11,546 acre lake in St. Louis County near Lake Vermillion. It is the largest of the Pelican Lakes in Minnesota.
Unlike most lakes in Minnesota, Pelican Lake fishing is dominated by bass and northern pike and not walleye. However, most species of fish have been steadily improving in the lake, with the exception of black and brown bullhead. Other species include black crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, and yellow perch.
