Crappie were pretty good on this trip. Got some while trolling a little deeper with minnows. Forgot my camera so here is one my granddaughter caught last summer.
While this is known as a bass lake, my son really enjoys crappie fishing here.
This is a wonderful lake to fish. I love taking my daughter out. She is so happy to catch a sunny.
Priest has been excellent for crappie all winter. Had good luck in the 4 to 10 foot depth over stake beds and brush.
This was a great season for salmon fishing. It is wonderful to have such a good lake so close to the city.
While most people go for walleye on this lake, smallmouth bass are plentiful in the summer months.
While I love this area for muskie, it is fun to take the kids out. My daughter caught this smallmouth bass a couple of years ago.
Went out on Lake Michigan north of Sheboygan. We got some great chinook salmon, which you can really on get in Wisconsin on Lake Michigan or Lake Superior.
Some great later season fishing this year on the Virginia side, including this giant blue catfish.
The fishing was great this summer. Catfish were everywhere in the channels. My daughter even caught one this year.
Had some good luck with catfish here. Used live bait while in the main channel.
Caught my first bass of the year in the weeds. This is a great lake year round.
Caught this bluegill using a piece of hot dog as bait. It's not to big, but it may be one of the prettiest fish I have caught.

Caught this great fish late at night. The fishing during the day was very slow.
