Catfish are fair on cut shad and prepared baits.
Black bass are fair on drop shot rigs, topwaters and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around structure.
This is a great lake. Had a wonderful vacation with the family here. I especially like fishing in the southeast corner. Bass are good there during the summer months.
Beautiful day on the lake. We caught a couple of bass including this great one that my son caught.
Got to get out to my friend's cabin on the lake for the weekend. The fishing was pretty slow, but I did get a nice bass that was hiding in some weeds.

It looks like the lake trout are ready to start being good now. They were already in deeper parts of the lake.
Had only a little luck fishing in the morning for bass. I tried some live minnows in the weed beds with marginal success. I think flies would have been as good or better.
Had a good early morning fishing for bass. Very good fishing in the weed beds. The fishing got a lot worst as the sun started to warm up the water.
While this is a great trout lake, I have found good luck with largemouth bass here on cloudy, cool days or early mornings. I had good luck most of the day in the weed beds.
Good bass fishing from the shore. This is a great lake to fish from the shore. Take advantage of the park.
Got a couple of crappie from the dock using small minnows on jigs. This lake is nice because it has easy access and you can get some relaxing fishing done after work.
Nice day fishing... Bass seemed a little deep. Some action on rapalas around 10-15 feet seemed like. Either way we had fun!
Caught a few catfish up on a creek arm, nothing huge but some good eating size. We just mostly used cutbait, but tied on a few grasshopper and that worked as always!
Had some great like catching pike in the shallow, weedy areas of the lake.
Obviously Lake Michigan is the only place in Indiana to catch salmon. Got this one near Michigan City.
This was a special day for kids fishing. It was great to see how much the kids enjoyed fishing even with all the rain.
Crappie were pretty good on this trip. Got some while trolling a little deeper with minnows. Forgot my camera so here is one my granddaughter caught last summer.
While this is known as a bass lake, my son really enjoys crappie fishing here.
